MD5 Password Generator: An interesting approach for handling the increasingly unmanageable number of passwords that we now have to deal with. The way it works is that you provide a master password and the url of the site you're registering to. When you click generate, it performs a calculation on those two inputs and generates a safe and unique password for that site.

For example, your master password is PASSWORD.
The generated password for your yahoo mail account (http://mail.yahoo.com) would be: 3aab34db
The generated password for website Foo would be (http://foo.com) would be: 32991948

Now if someone then breaks in and steals your password for foo.com, they won't be able to get into your Yahoo mail account. Very clever. Even better, they have a favelet version as well. All of this is handled on the client side so you don't have to worry about your password being transmitted.
