Tweaks and touches
It seems that the only things that I write about on this site are to do with redesigns. It's almost as if I like the concept of having a blog more than the actual blogging itself… Anyways, as you can see, I've hacked together a "clean" version of the cobalt theme (though be warned, live tweaking is still in progress). The themes are, naturally, selectable via the theme switcher on the sidebar.
The header logo for the clean theme, inspired by the wonderful Morgun Knutson, was made with the help of my brother.
So which theme do you prefer?

phu as you are redesigning in could we persuade you to increase the font size a touch ? Please :)
i think I prefer the ‘alt’ version but then I always favour copy on white rather than out of a colour for on-screen porpoises

Just because it’s you asking:) I’ve made a few tweaks so things should hopefully be a bit easier to read…
Easier? Crikey. I am squinting thru my monocle.
Wow, I’m flattered, I like this one. I prefer the colors and I always lean towards dark text on a light background.

Any better? :-)
Nice job phu (i’m a ‘minimalist’ freak and like simple clean layouts). :)
The text size is about bang on.
Quite readable on a 17″ flat-panel @ 1280×1024
For those who find the text size to small, that is what the ‘Increase Font Size’ option in your web browser is for :)
The text on the sidebars is definately easier to read on the alt theme, but I did like your colours on the original version.
Both look very nice anyway. :)
I prefer the full-colour version, but the other one’s very nice as well.
Thanks so very much for taking your time to create this very useful and informative site. I have learned a lot from your site. Thanks!! I think you have done an excellent job with your site. I will return in the near future.
Great theme! Do you consider to release “Cobald”?
