Desk toys

So are you ever too old for toys? Especially, desk toys? People who know me in person know that I'm a big videogaming aficionado. It's therefore no surprise that I'd decorate my personal work area with videogaming desk toys.

Wind waker toy

The legend of Zelda: Windwaker is one of my favourite console games and is held together by some wonderful design work.

Tekki toy

Tekki (Steel Battalion in the west) is one of those games in which you either love or don't see the point of. Needless to say, I'm firmly in the first category.

Console toys

Now here are some blasts from the past (Bonus points for anyone who can name these machines).

So, how does everyone else decorate their workarea?

currently got some star wars figures, computer/design books, some mini akira figures. I do want to get small figurines, but there really isn’t any around that I really like. I was about to get some Hitchhiker’s guide fo the galaxy ones today, just for Marvin…

I have a Bionicle Nuju Hordika as well as its previous forms.
Also, I have a cast-iron Batman penguin with a rocket on its back. It might be collectible.

I found the greatest toy/stress ball today, and ordered several of them until I found out that you can by packages of 10 for a total of $9 .. oh well, if you buy them individually they are $3 each… I can’t wait to get my hands on these! :)

    Holy shit, I’m jealous!

I decorate my desk with just some silly SpongeBob stuff etc, but alliterations aside I also happen to own Wolfgang and Leonardo.

Tango man (like Morph but Orange). Er… that’s about it. I like to keep my work desk clear and clean. At home, lavalamp is the only ‘decoration’. Does the FHM calendar on my wall count?

I’m a poster person myself, and that doesn’t exactly allow me to place anything onto my desk… I’m sure they would be lost amoungst the junk and cables anyway, or I would end up taking them apart instead of the hardware I happen to have lying around.
