Delineate Stats

Delineate (previously known as Vestigo) by Ben Sekulowicz Barclay aka Beseku is a community driven visitor tracking service. Delineate not only tracks your own visitors but that of every member of the Delineate user community to create a greater knowledge base of your visitors and their interests.

I'm very happy with Mint for this site, but this is quite interesting.

    Were you able to get deliniate working on your WP blog? I’m having trouble making it work. Can you help? If so, please shoot me an email.

    Seth, first things first: I am not using WP but Drupal. But, I got it working, after a bit of struggle. May be this info can help.

    In the instruction e-mail they say to include (@include_once) a link to the delineate file between the html headtags.

    I had to change the given line (include) and place it between phptags. So it became (used accolades instead of hooks to keep it visible in this comment):

    {?php @include_once(et cetera); ?}

    Really don’t know why, as I am not a programmer, but hey, it works!

    Second important thing: I use Drupals php template engine, and therefore had to do this in the page template. Not sure if WP has a same kind of template, but that should do the trick.

    Good luck!
    Marc

    I tried visiting the delineatit.com site, but it keeps giving me a 403.

    It seems that delineateit.com has some trouble indeed.

    Well, I have to say: I don’t use it anymore, the application just doesn’t fit my needs.

    Now I use BBClone in combination with SlimStat, a perfect match!
