Incidentally, even if you're not troubled by rodents, do take a look at Chris' site. Lovely writing, wonderful photographs and (IMO) one of the nicest designs on the web. I hope he doesn't mind me appropriating his lovely mouse image:)

    I had a problem with field mice in my garage, and was catching one every night and letting it go(over the fence)I began to wonder if it was the same one, so decided to mark it with paint. I tipped it into a builders bucket, and it made a standing leap over the side, over 15″ to freedom
