What a wonderful photoshop idea; make regular cars mini.

Tagyu launches

Adam Kelsey has launched Tagyu, a service which automatically generates tags from content. It works by comparing what you’re writing to what other people around the web are writing. It's already works relatively well and as with most statistical analysis techniques, it should improve with age. Very cool.
Mansion impossible
The aim of Mansion impossible is to buy and sell smaller houses to earn enough money to buy the Million Dollar Mansion.
False advertising with Revolver movie
Like Khaled, I liked Guy Ritchies previous films. Lock, Stock was great fun as was Snatch.
Revolver is a totally different affair however and when you find out that the producers/distributors have to manufacture up review quotes that you begin to suspect that things aren't so sweet any more. Following investigation by Private Eye magazine, it turns out that the "Brilliant, back to his best quote" used on the advertising poster was not from a reviewer but from a page 3 girl (think glamour model) who had a role in the film.
The influence of critics at the box office is hard to quantify, but good quotes for a movie's poster are seen as crucial for its chances. That is why the use of quotes of dubious provenance is widespread. "It happens all the time," confirms Daily Mirror critic David Edwards. "Quotes are just plucked from the ether."
The stench of David Manning hangs strong around this torrid affair.
Search Engine Ranking Factors
A list of the general ranking factors affecting Search Engine placement can be found at SEOmoz. Don't forget the Google oriented list mentioned a short while back.
AOL buys Weblogs Inc
Just posting the news. Weblogs Inc has been bought out by America Online for around $25 million. No announcement yet from WINS or Jason Calacanis.
Google Office - WTF?
WTF is right. If you're going to build hype, make sure that there is some substance behind it. Packaging Google Toolbar is not a major announcement; calling it an anticlimatic disappointment is being kind.
And really, Jonathan Schwartz? The world is about to change this week? Do you happen to remember what happened to the boy who cried wolf?
BBenzinger tackles Trackslife
Brian Benzinger reviews TracksLife, a new web app developed by Benjamin Adam " CSS Reboot" Howell which allows you to quickly and effectively track anything you want.
There's a couple of public "tracks" on show which give you an idea of how it works. Fantastic stuff, and to be frank, I'm a bit envious. I was thinking of working on something similar but now I'm in two minds on whether or not to continue.
Jakob’s Design Mistakes of 2005
Jakob Nielsen has published his Top Ten Web Design Mistakes of 2005. Personally, I think his big design mistake of 2004 was not listening to Design Eye for the Usability Guy.
