There's an interview in Nintendo Japan Online Magazine in which they speak with Alpha Dream, the guys behind the Mario & Luigi series. One of the interesting things to come out of the interview was that in the period before they received the DS dev kit, they'd decided to knock up a prototype system so as to enable them to explore the possibilities.

Is it just me that finds the idea of a SNES controller on a portable games console extremely sexy?
