Ylunch.com and High5Advertising.com are thieves

Update: High5Advertising has been redesigned. Had High5's initial response to Mike been more civil and conciliatory, all of this could have ended with less fireworks.

What is it about companies that blatently steal designs and instead of accepting the blame, try to crawl their way out by attacking other people?

Lesson to people who steal other websites: fall on your sword, accept responsibility, and change it. Obviously creative work shouldn't have been stolen in the first place, but once it's stolen you shouldn't

  1. email readers who are pissed off at you,
  2. piss them off even more,
  3. tell them how much money you make so they think you're a big-timer,
  4. ask how much money they make to prove their worth,
  5. and then finally ask them to do work with you and/or partner.

Mike Rundle's and Doug Bowman's reputation are fortunately beyond dispute and can walk away without harm; however, imagine the chaos which could have resulted if these toerags had stolen from less well-known designers.

Hello My name is Greg Sirochinsky I am the CEO of ylunch.com. I don’t understand why this board has such bad publicity about me and my company. The site High5advertising.com NO LONGER looks anything like the site being discussed. I am 24 years old very hard working, and very goal motivated. I was NOT aware that the site was “stolen”……..once I did find out a NEW site was created and launched promplty.

I am VERRY hard working, and honest…ask any of my clients who work with me…over 75 in chicago……….I am all about my business and may cleints.

If ANYONE would like to talk to me directly feel free to call me.
