Don’t forget to check the calendar
It's April fools today. Yes, I momentarily forgot what day it was1. There's Google's annual contribution2 Slashdot has finally gone mass-market with their expression of love for ponies3. Microsoft got their one out early4. Kathy Sierra finally writes a book that I can hand out to other people. Nathan Smith has called it a day and is selling up. Bryan succumbs to temptation and eats the egg rolls. The Star Wars universe expands. 2600 sells out to Google. The Economists reveals what will be the latest craze in the world of pets. And finally, what better way of avoiding card fraud than Chip and Sing? Personally, I'm looking forward to Wordpattern.
I'm surprised 9Rules haven't got into the act5. Well, I guess it's because they were too busy being bought out…
- Nice one John. [back]
- Though I reckon they're on a winner here; remember one of their other outlandish prank. [back]
- Though nothing could match their older announcement that they're moving towards CSS [back]
- OK, so this one wasn't intentional. [back]
- But what could be less serious than this? [back]

me neither! ;) I’m just so glad it fell on a Saturday where I do much less reading and blogging. I can be gullible when it’s plausible.
What, that StupidIEHack was an early April’s fool? Judging by how it was switfly corrected shortly afterwards, it didn’t seem so…
I opted by the announcement of the new Ubuntu derivative, wUbuntu. :P
It wasn’t but it should’ve been:)
Looks like I missed out all the actions. I was up at L.A., spending a internet-free day with my girlfriend and her parents.
