If..Else Log

Forget Web2.0. Web2.1 is coming with a killer feature: a replacement for everyone's favourite tag from yesteryear, the good old blink, only this time with standards-compliant AJAX goodness. Now you can have a blink tag without feeling guilty that you're using yesterday's technology.

Now all we need is a replacement for marquee tags and under construction gifs¹.

I actually saw Blinking text done in Flash on an entrance page to what otherwise seemed to be a very nice gallery site. At first I was shocked and then I couldn’t stop laughing. We really have come full circle.
